I always enjoy wandering around and looking at all the cool steam engines at the fair, and this year we went along when there were loads of classic cars there too…

Top Gear doesn’t have anything to worry about…

Had a quick visit to Waddesdon Manor today – didn’t manage to get tickets to go inside the house and see the Christmas rooms, but we had a nice wander around the grounds and checked out the Christmas Food Market…

Ok, so you’re probably supposed to go to a motor show before you buy a car, not right after, but hey ho. We had a fun day out (even Peggy enjoyed it) and saw lots of cool stuff – including the Top Gear “police” cars – and even scoffed a few ice lollies!

What was surprising – and therefore, reassuring – was the realisation that even after trying out all the cool new cars, there was not a single one where we thought “Oooh, wish we’d bought this instead of the Citroen”! Even the Qashqai+2 was a big disappointment…
